Prismatic Technology Limited Warranty
Thank you for your interest in the products and services of Prismatic Technology.
This Limited Warranty applies to physical goods, and only for physical goods, purchased from Prismatic Technology.
What does this limited warranty cover?
This Limited Warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the Warranty Period.
During the Warranty Period, Prismatic Technology will repair or replace, at no charge, products or parts of a product that proves defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.
What will we do to correct problems?
Prismatic Technology will either repair the Product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts.
How long does the coverage last?
The Warranty Period for Physical Goods purchased from Prismatic Technology is 360 days or otherwise stated, from the date of purchase.
Replacement of a physical good or part assumes the remaining warranty of the original physical good or 90 days from the date of replacement or repair, whichever is longer.
What does this limited warranty not cover?
If damage to your device does not stem directly from a manufacturing defect or failure, it may not fall under the coverage of the Prismatic Technology Standard Limited Warranty.
The following are not covered by the Prismatic Technology Standard Limited Warranty:
Loss of data.
Any software or applications that were pre-installed on the device.
Damage resulting from self-repair attempts or services by unauthorized providers.
- Malfunctions or damage not resulting from defects in material, workmanship, or non-maintenance.
Failures or damage due to misuse, abuse, accidents, modifications, unsuitable physical or operating environments, natural disasters, power surges, inadequate maintenance or power protection, or use contrary to the product information guide or recommendations.
Failures or damage caused by third-party products, including those that may be provided or integrated into the Prismatic Technology product upon your request.
Products or parts that have altered or missing identification labels.
Warranty does not extend to internal damage not directly caused by manufacturing defects or failures.
Specifically, the Prismatic Technology Standard Limited Warranty does not cover:
- Damage to the system board, solid-state drive (SSD), hard drive (HDD), liquid-crystal display (LCD) panel, casing, bezel, hinge, external ports, keyboard, touchpad, Switching Mode Power Supply (SMPS)/AC adapter, or optical disc drive (ODD).
- Physical damage to internal components caused by the customer.
- Corrosion of internal components.
- Damage to DIMM or RAM sockets.
- Missing pads on the system board.
- Alterations to component serial numbers.
- Damage to pins.
- Damage due to: liquids, fire or lightning.
Limited Warranty Password, Activation or iCloud Locked Devices:
Please be aware that the warranty coverage provided by Prismatic Technology for physical goods does not extend to devices that have been accidentally locked via an iCloud account by the customer. It is the responsibility of the device owner to maintain access to their iCloud account and ensure that their device remains unlocked and accessible. Prismatic Technology recommends that customers regularly check their iCloud account status and device accessibility to prevent any inadvertent locking.
In the event that a device is rendered inaccessible due to an iCloud lock initiated by the customer, Prismatic Technology will not be obligated under the warranty to provide repair, replacement, or any form of remedy for the locked device. We encourage all customers to manage their iCloud settings carefully and to disable any iCloud locks before seeking service for their device.
For assistance with iCloud account management or unlocking a device, customers are advised to contact Apple Support directly. Prismatic Technology is committed to providing high-quality products and services but cannot intervene in matters related to Apple’s iCloud security features.
